Most Human Design charts are calculated using the tropical zodiac, a symbolic system frozen in time over 2,000 years ago. Because of precession, the tropical zodiac no longer matches the sky.
There are three layers people confuse:
1. Tropical
Symbolic. Season‑based. Not aligned with the real sky.
2. Sidereal
Constellation‑based. Closer, but still uses fixed offsets and uneven boundaries.
3. True Sidereal

I use User Defined SVP with a baseline of 31.74, but through hundreds of charts I’ve discovered that some birth years require a slight adjustment — often 31.72 — to produce the mechanically correct result.
