Two Different Questions

There are two separate conversations happening under the banner of “Human Design,” and they are often mistaken for one. The first is astronomical: is the chart calculated against the real, visible sky, or against a symbolic zodiac that has drifted over three thousand years out of alignment with it? The second question is different. It is not about coordinates. It is about what happened to the teaching itself, inside the industry that formed around it…the certifications, the standardized language, the templates, the authority list that grew from seven items instead of staying at three. This page is about that second question: True Sidereal Human Design against mainstream Human Design, the system as it is commercially taught and practiced today, correct sky or not.

Restoring, Not Replacing

I did not arrive at this work by rejecting Ra Uru Hu’s teaching from the outside. I arrived at it by going deeper into his own words than the standard curriculum ever asked anyone to go. Since 2013, I have studied Human Design…not as a certification to complete, but as a body of source material to scrutinize. I transcribed his original recordings word for word.

I sat with the contradictions between what he taught in his public lectures and what he said, almost in passing, in his advanced programs like Rave Anatomy. And what I found was not a system that needed to This is restoration, not replacement. Everything I correct, I correct with his own material as the evidence be discarded. It was a system that had already pointed toward its own deeper architecture…and then stopped short of teaching it.

But in his own advanced teaching, Ra Uru Hu described something different. In Rave Anatomy, Lecture One, “The Senses of the BodyGraph”… he uses the word binary himself, describing a tonal architecture beneath the Spleen, Ajna, and Solar Plexus that exists prior to, and separate from, the centers on the surface. He calls the centers the place where this deeper architecture is expressed…not where it originates. He names Solar Plexus a “so-called” awareness center, explaining that its awareness “has not yet emerged” on this plane. Of the Spleen, he says plainly: it is the only awareness we can actually trust.

This is the seed of the correction. There are not seven authorities. There are three: the Splenic binary, the Ajna binary, and the Solar Plexus binary. Every so-called “surface authority” … Sacral, Self-Projected, Ego, all of it… is one of these three binaries broadcasting through a different microphone. The center is not the source. It is where the source becomes audible. Why did this never make it into standard practitioner training?

A system with seven authorities produces seven certifications, seven specializations, seven reasons for a student to keep coming back for more training. A system with three binaries is simpler and simplicity does not sustain a curriculum the way complexity does. True Sidereal restores what Ra himself pointed toward but never carried down into the practical teaching most people actually receive: there are only three real sources of authority, and every person’s design is some combination of them, broadcast through whichever centers happen to be defined.

I know this dissolves a great deal of what people have built their self-understanding on. That is not something I take lightly. But the words we use to describe ourselves matter… and when a word is lost in translation, or simplified for the sake of a curriculum, what a person builds their identity on can become something quietly different from the truth it was meant to point to.

Beyond Tropical and Sidereal

The astronomical correction using the real sky instead of a zodiac drifted thirty-four days out of alignment, is the foundation. But the restoration does not stop there.

Human Design, as Ra Uru Hu received and taught it, drew on the I Ching, on astrology, on genetics, but it stopped short of the deeper mythic architecture that ancient sky-based systems were originally built from. This is where True Sidereal Human Design goes beyond restoring Ra’s own teaching and becomes its own framework: the Nine Officers, the Greek pantheon mapped to the nine centers, the bodygraph centers reframed as microphones broadcasting the binary beneath them. Ra never taught the centers this way. This mapping is my own…built over twelve years of direct study, and arrived at because if this system claims to be ancient wisdom, it needs to actually connect to something ancient. Not borrow the word. Earn it.

I also chose, deliberately, to describe this architecture in plain language rather than in specialized terminology that requires years of training to parse. Complexity sells, because it creates the need for endless certification. But simplicity sells too, because it’s true, and people can feel the difference between a word that explains something and a word that’s built to keep them dependent on someone else’s translation of it.

So this page draws two separate lines. Where True Sidereal restores Ra’s own advanced teaching, the three binaries, the surface expression…that is Ra’s own material, carried forward rather than left behind. Where True Sidereal extends beyond anything Ra taught… the Nine Officers, the Greek mythic architecture, that is my own framework, built because the ancient claim demanded ancient depth, and nobody had gone looking for it yet.

How This Shows Up in a Reading

A True Sidereal reading is a hand-written transmission. Your binaries are read from your true sidereal Sun and Earth, the actual sky at your birth, not a symbolic approximation of it. Your centers are read as microphones, not as sources. What you receive is not a template with your name inserted. It is built from the real mechanics of your actual design.

The Sovereign Conclusion

You cannot have seven authorities and three authorities at the same time. You cannot have centers that generate truth and centers that only broadcast it. One of these is the architecture Ra Uru Hu actually described in his own advanced teaching. The other is what got simplified, standardized, and sold.

This is not a matter of preference. It is a matter of going back to the source material and reading what was actually said, carefully, completely, without stopping at the parts that were easiest to teach.
