WHAT IS THE ROYAL DECREE?
The Royal Decree is a personalized True Sidereal Human Design reading created from the actual astronomical sky you were born under.
True Sidereal Human Design uses the positions of the planets in the real sky at the time and place of your birth to calculate your chart. This can reveal a different mechanical picture from a conventional tropical Human Design chart, including different gates, channels, and in some cases a different Aura Type.
This is not a collection of generic Human Design definitions. Your reading is written from your actual chart, using the mythology, biology, mechanics and Ancient I Ching behind the system.
WHY “THE ROYAL DECREE”?
The name Royal Decree is deliberate. Decree comes from the Latin decretum, from decernere… to decide, determine, and distinguish. Its older root reaches back to the idea of sifting: separating one thing from another so that the distinction can be seen. Royal comes from Latin regalis, from rex king with an older root connected to directing, leading, and moving in a straight line. Put the two together and something important appears:
Discernment and sovereignty.
The Royal Decree is not a command telling you how to live. It is the architecture revealed by your chart, brought together so you can see, distinguish, observe and test what is actually yours. You are the captain of your own ship.
- The chart is not the captain.
- The reader is not the captain.
- The teacher is not the captain.
- And your mind is not the captain.
You are.
The work is to recognize what belongs to your own architecture and distinguish it from the interference that can pull you away from it. That is why the reading is not something you are meant to simply believe. The chart is the map. Your body is the laboratory. Your life is the experiment. Don’t believe me. Go and see.

A look inside the Royal Decree
This is an example from an actual Royal Decree reading. Your reading begins with your own chart and a personalized introduction to the way your intelligence operates. From there, the reading moves through your individual architecture, exploring the Officers, Inner Authority, astrology gates, and Incarnation Cross that belong to your chart.
Your reading is created specifically from your chart. No two Royal Decrees are the same.
WHY IS IT DIFFERENT?
A Royal Decree is not a standard Human Design report with more information added to it.
It is built from the actual astronomical sky you were born under, then interpreted through an integrated framework of mythology, biology, Human Design mechanics, and the Ancient I Ching.
The Nine Officers– Rather than treating the nine centers simply as areas of the chart, the Royal Decree reads them as Nine Officers, each with its own mythology, biological territory, mechanics, and ancient gate imagery.
The body as a living system. The chart is connected back to the biological temple not treated as an abstract diagram. Your reading explores how these different intelligences and functions can be recognized through your lived experience.
Explore the gates of the Ancient I Ching & the imagery behind them, rather than relying solely on modern interpretations. This offers another way to encounter them as a pattern to observe and experience in your own life.
Your actual sky– Your chart is calculated from the astronomical sky you were actually born under. Additional True Sidereal gates can introduce gates and channels that are not present in a conventional chart and, in some cases, can change the Aura Type.
A complete architecture- The Royal Decree brings these pieces together rather than leaving you with disconnected definitions. Your Officers, Inner Authority, astrology points, gates, Profile, and Incarnation Cross are read in relationship to one another.
The result is not another list of things your chart says about you. It is a map you can take into your own experience and observe for yourself.
HOW DO I USE IT?
You don’t need to memorize your chart or turn it into another set of rules. Your Royal Decree is a map to explore through your own experience.
- Read it slowly. Notice what you recognize.
- Pay attention to what your body, awareness, and life are already showing you. You may find yourself returning to different parts of the reading at different times.
- One section may suddenly make sense because of something you’re living through now. Another may become meaningful months later.
- Let your experience be part of the experiment.
- The purpose is not to make yourself fit the chart.
- It is to learn how to recognize what is already happening within you.

WHAT OTHERS HAVE EXPERIENCED
A Royal Decree is something you can return to over time. These are a few reflections from people who have experienced Jillian’s True Sidereal Human Design work and the difference it made in how they understood their chart and themselves.
“Jillian entered my life at the perfect moment and instantly helped me release five years of living as a projector in Human Design. Discovering that I’m actually a pure manifesting generator via my cosmic chart felt like a huge exhale and reignited my excitement for HD.”
“I was searching for someone who used true sidereal astrology in their Human Design readings. Jillian’s reading was personalized, honest, and had a depth I didn’t expect. I have been working with it for a few months now, and it has changed how I understand who I am and how I live.”
“Contacted Jillian as she gives a written report, which I prefer to a Zoom call. The report was very helpful. Yet what was most beneficial was the lengthy clarification of my questions afterward. It made the chart itself and how it connects to my life much more understandable. Thanks.”
